Colonial Park Store

Colonial Park Store - Went to check out and saw there was only the customer service desk and all in person checkouts were removed. It was all self checkout. The sales associate did not seem to want to explain what happened. She checked me out and didn't acknowledge I had a Birthday Coupon and was not friendly. I had my own bag and she made no effort to place items in bag and scanned them and moved them aside.
No congeniality!

Problems to pay the bill by telephone

I attempted to pay my bill over the telephone and I encountered too many problems:
1. It doesn't recognize the account number or the alternate ID Social Security number, no matter how many times I attempted. Something got messed up. It is not fixed on time.
2. It doesn't allow enough time to type.
3. Too long a wait to talk to a live representative.
4. Overall it is a boring experience, it stinks.

Unbelievably Frustrating!

Kohl's online customer service is the worst experience possible. Their system is antiquated and the people are unable to assist. I made a card purchase recently but had not made a purchase since 2021. When I tried to pay my account balance it reminded me why I had stopped shopping at Kohl's. I do not plan to ever purchase from this retailer ever again. The money I saved in discounts was grossly compensated by the amount of time and frustration it took to make the payment for the merchandise!

Kohl's has the worst HR online

Kohl's has the worst HR online, email and phone customer service. I was trying to confirm if I enrolled in the employee discount correctly. It took me 25 mins for me to speak to someone then another 15 mins for that person to "confirm" I have the discount on my rewards card. It would have been easier if they knew how to help me navigate the kohl's website instead of telling me to wait so they can check their resources. Not only that while at the Kohl's store, there a customer on hold for an hour trying to resolve her card payment! Customer service in person is top notch but another other service sucks!

So disappointed with the customer service

So disappointed with the customer service.
Today I want to not go to the store or order online anymore. I called customer service as soon as I understood I made a mistake on the shipping address. They couldn't fix it and blamed me for making mistakes. A billion dollar company can't figure out how to fix online orders if a mistake happens. Then don't ask why people going to Amazon!
Then they decided to play detective, who's address is that? Me: my in-low in different state. Response from customer service: well you made a mistake and figure it out with your in-laws!
I want to take a moment for you to understand how horrible this type of talking to people is.

Refunds.

Refunds.
Bought a jacket that I thought was leather & got it home to find a tag that said leather like". I returned it & they said I wouldn't be refunded for 2 months.
Why so long? I believe that's an unreasonably long time to tie up my money.

your new checkout Pac-Man mouse maze is obnoxious! when the checkout lady said i had to walk my 1 item through a maze that no-one was in, i dropped my item & walked the hell out. It's all your overpriced crap that should be put in the garbage. i have knee surgery next week & was not going to go walk thru your stupid maze. The person who thought of this should be fired, if not I hope you are eliminated like Kmart. I ordered what I needed on Amazon today- saved $8.45 & will be on my doorstep tomorrow .

I have been trying for the last 4 hours…

I have been trying for the last 4 hours to get a copy of my billing statement and no one knows what they are doing. I can’t setup my kohls credit account online because there is an error. It’s crazy that big companies can’t handle simple questions or issues quickly. I would give them a zero if I could.

Kohl’s letdown

Went there, applied for a card and was told I was accepted with a low limit. I put two different purchases on the card and paid both purchases off at the register. I had to return something and I didn’t realize until later that they refunded the card, even though it was paid off by my debit card.

3 days later I got a letter that they couldn’t give me a credit card. I had wanted to give them another chance but I am done with Kohl’s.

I have been a kohls customer for 15…

I have been a kohls customer for 15 yrs, spending thousands of dollars. I just received a new kohls card in the mail, which is a credit card. I don’t want a credit card I want a store card only. They actually terminated my store card! I spent 2 hrs trying to get it back. Still can’t. I will NEVER shop at kohls again. This was very sneaky thing to do to long standing customers. I’ve had it with them.

I started as a stock boy at Kohls over…

I started as a stock boy at Kohls over 40 years ago. They offered name brand merchandise at a great value which is what propelled their success from roughly 15 stores when I started to over 1000. Fast forward to today and their Customer Appreciation Sale with up to 30% off. Unfortunately most of their name brands have been squeezed out in favor of their lesser quality store/private brands. And none of their name brands (Izod, Eddie Bauer) were eligible for the sale. Sadly I will now look elsewhere and online for quality products at great value.

Received a visa Kohl’s card in the mail…

Received a visa Kohl’s card in the mail that I did not request at all. Try to call and make some inquiries and it somehow activated the card without my knowledge. Now I can’t use my old Kohl’s card and I can’t get a hold of anyone that knows anything. When I tried to cancel with capital one they said to check with Kohls first because I might cancel everything I have with them. I was at a Kohl’s Store today and my old card is not working and it shows the new Visa card. I am so upset right now. I want to cancel everything and never give them my business, so angry that they sent me this card without my request. It’s a good thing. I opened the mail and saw it. It could have gotten into the wrong hands. I don’t need another visa credit card.

Amazon Returns supersede Kohls returns

I went to return a couple items I purchased a few days earlier. Long line, 3 clerks so I thought the line would go quickly. However, apparently Kohls Customer Service, Skyler at the Plymouth, MN location decided Kohls customers take 2nd place to Amazon customers and took 3 Amazon returns behind me versus doing a Kohls return. Given Kohls sales have been slow and earnings have missed, it’s too bad they give their Amazon return customers better care than their paying Kohls customers. Won’t be shopping at Kohls anytime soon.

My wife came home with two items but…

My wife came home with two items but misplaced the receipt. I went online into her account to check and found the transaction. The problem was that the total transaction amount was listed as $128.12 versus the actual correct amount of $80.50. Nobody in Kohl's "lack of" customer service department had the capability to correct Kohl's mathematical error; the issue has to go through their 60 plus day dispute resolution cycle. Math is math and is not disputable. Inane is a nice definition of their service.

I've gone to the Kohl's in Troy

I've gone to the Kohl's in Troy, OH 3 different times lately, each time the store looks worse than a Goodwill store, I believe you need new Merchandisers your store is over filled with clearance the racks are so full and not maintained the sizes are all mixed together. Each time I've been there I leave w/o buying anything

Customer service via phone is non-existent

Attempting to close my Kohl's account since they switched to the Visa scheme. On hold for over 45 minutes with customer service. Never did connect and no opportunity for a call back. At one time I frequently shopped Kohls, but no more. Horrible, horrible online/phone customer service. I have no interest in ever shopping here again.
Update: Third call, and 20 minute wait, finally a cs rep answered. While difficult to understand, he was able to close my account. This business with issuing a Visa account without my permission sent me over the edge. No more Kohl's.

Place an order on 9/2/24

Place an order on 9/2/24, total price of the order was 23.50, on 9/2/24 11.75 Was taken out of my account, on 9/8/24 11.75 Was taken out of my account, and on 9/10/24 11.75 was taken out. Totally 35.25. Called customer service very Waste of time and useless. On a call for 45 minutes, asked to speak to supervisor, customer service lied and said there were no supervisor available!!!! Khol’s will be the next company going under

Beware of Using Kohl's Cash

Did an online order and was expecting everything to be shipped directly to me except for the wax melts. I specifically said that since I wasn't unable to get to the store without having a vehicle I told them to just cancel the wax melts out then and credit my debit back. Well,come to find out, I've received less money back due to applying Kohl's Cash to my order which you won't receive the entire refunded price back. I blame myself for not realizing that the wax melts were pickup only but at the same time, you feel gypped by Kohl's. A certain percentage you get back and the rest applies to Kohl's Cash is how I see it which isn't right in my opinion.
