IWE've only just opened a Vinted…
WE've only just opened a Vinted acccount, and was shocked to find out our account was locked, and that we were both 'temporarily, andthen, 'fully banned' from their web site. Our only redress is to open an appeal.
Why?
We're not criminals after all?
The first time their 'Artificial Intelligence' appears to have identified we'd contravened one of their umpteen rules or regulations. This ocurred when I was attempting to enter my credit card details, but We've no idea what caused the glitch to warrent an automated warning from Vinted.
Ouir accoint was still active and we put an item on the site, which has been sold.
Today my wife started a new sale, but realised she couldn't add the details because she'd put too many items on, instead of only one. So she believed she was deleting the photos, but got an instant message to say the account was 'blocked' and that we were 'banned'.
However, I thought this was a bit harsh, and we did write to Vinted explaining what had happened, although we're still not sure what exactly we've done wrong, and was surprised to receive a message to say they think 'the error was caused by them', and that our account has been unblocked.
We're still having difficulty negotiating around their selling page, and find it a bit of a headache to be honest, unlike 'Gumtree' which is a piece of cake by comparison.
