Young Tree Care Survey (YTCS) is an annual summer survey where volunteers help survey public trees in the City of Palo Alto that were planted within the last 5 years. The data that is collected will help the City of Palo Alto target the young trees that need the most care.
This training will cover how to use TreePlotter, an online software that allows us to keep track of trees and update its information regularly. Completing the training is required for new YTCS participants and volunteers who have not participated for more than a year. Once you complete the training, you'll be set to complete YTCS routes.
