Planting and caring for trees strengthens community bonds, supports physical and mental well-being, and provides all of our communities with the benefits of a thriving, healthy urban forest.

Building Power and Economic Resilience

At Canopy, we know trees are drivers for lasting systemic change. Through our planting and tree care programs, we engage youth and community members in environmental and workforce development. Through our expansive community and youth education we bring the power to trees to where people are. These experiences build local knowledge, skills, and engagement—and grow the next generation of advocates who will be the needed champions for healthy, economically resilient communities.
