Breaking News: Stitchers' Workshop Closing

Thanks to Whitney, I just learned that Pat Dugan is closing her shop Stitcher's Workshop in Arkansas to move to Indiana to concentrate on teaching and designing while living closer to her family.  Yesterday the shop started their Closing Sale, with all in stock merchandise on sale at twenty percent off.   The official closing date is August 15th.

Losing Stitcher's Workshop is a blow.   I will especially miss the lovely boxes, stretcher bars and floor frames Pat's husband makes.  I don't know if he will continue to make these things once retirement hits. After all, when you are retired all the free time you hoped for is very illusive!

Thanks for letting us know, Whitney.  Anyone who gets to visit the shop one last time, plus hug Pat for me!

First, Second, Third

Stitchers Workshop in Arkansas has a show of customer stitching each year, with customers voting on the winners. This year the first, second and third place winners were in a very close election! I couldn't have chosen between them myself.  Luckily the shop put photographs on their site so that non-locals can admire them, so please visit and enjoy.
