veni vidi vici

veni vidi vici
continuous line drawing
Inspired by d.t.haase's continuous-line drawings.
I find these drawings simultaneously freeing and challenging!  Challenging, for the type A in me has a hard time just going with the flow - literally -and embracing the "wrong turn" as an impromptu possibility (such are the struggles of the cripple pencil.) But freeing, for the process (and medium) disables my eraser-addicted hand - the pressure's off!

And then I love what d.t.haase has to say about Why Whimsy Matters.   Hence this pencil accepts the "invitation [to be] fanciful and odd".
