What is stored in your browser
The resume builder, CV maker, ATS checker and cover letter page save what you type in your browser’s localStorage so you can close the tab and come back. It never leaves your device unless you use an AI button. Keys start with cvforge:.
AI features
When you press an AI button (write bullets, summary, cover letter, review), the text needed for that request is sent to our server and on to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to generate the reply. CVForge does not store it or log its contents. Don’t paste information you would not want processed by a third-party model, such as ID numbers.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookie-free and does not build a profile of you.
No accounts, no sale of data
There is nothing to sign up for, so we hold no profile, email address or resume of yours. We do not sell or share data with advertisers.
