Star Flower Cluster - Anything Goes with Birch Press.

Hi there.... it's the last day of the month so I'm sharing my card for Die Cut Divas.   I'm currently overseas in Perth, Australia visiting with my family.   So I got myself organised and made my card early...

Our lovely sponsor this month is Birch Press.

Our sponsor will be giving away a $20 gift card to the winner of our challenge.  *Note: Challenge winner must have US address.

I die cut my cross stripe die from some dark blue card and added to a die cut panel. I die cut the Star Flower dies from white and used blue inks to add the colour.   I stamped and die cut Altenew Baby Breathe and added a touch of yellow with a maker.   Sentiment is a die cut one from Couture Creations.   Added a few Ranger Enamel Accents to finish

Anything Goes with Die Cut Divas.

We have a great challenge this month at Die Cut Divas - Anything Goes.

Our lovely sponsor this month is Birch Press.

Our sponsor will be giving away a $20 gift card to the winner of our challenge.  *Note: Challenge winner must have US address.

I have used a circle slatted die to cut out from the panel.   I added a green watercolour background that was a mop up of some green blending the other day.  There is a touch of gold paint on it which in real life you can see.  I used Birch Press Prima Peony Duo Contour Layer die set to cut out white flowers and stems.  I then used the first three inks from the Woodland Escape Fresh Dye inks plus some yellow ink to colour the flower layers.   And Jade and Eucalyptus Fresh Dye inks for the stems and leaves.  Added them over the circle with a little string bow.  Finished with a little sentiment from Elizabeth Craft Designs - Build your own sentiments 1 and some little pink dots.

Do come and join us at Die Cut Divas... just remember you must use your die cut machine to die cut/emboss on your card.

Christmas Joy.

Well- it's been a while!   Life has been very busy of late... I had some cards to make for a couple of Christmas swaps... so can't share till they are received.  And had to make a Golden Wedding Anniversary card.  Plus Hubby wanted a thank you card for the guy who's holiday home we were renting for the weekend.  Our friend's had their anniversary luncheon on this past Saturday.

Today, though, is my day to share at Die Cut Divas.   Our challenge this month is "Any Holidays"  Our sponsor this month is Birch Press Designs

We will award BPD's prize of a $20 gift card to the store on Dec. 3rd, drawn randomly from eligible entries in the November gallery.

For my card I've gone for a Christmas card - but using non-Christmas products from Birch Press.

I chose a watercoloured panel from my stash.  It's made with watercolour powders and had been sitting on the desk for awhile.   I took my Birch Press String Art Hot Press Plate and used it to emboss the panel.  I made a poinsettia out of Birch Press Star Flowers. I cut the two flowers with red card.  The centre layers I added dark red in.    I recently picked up the JOY die at my local magazine store.   It's by Chloe's Design and had been a magazine freebie.  I cut it with some gold card and layered the flower over the O.  It's great to use non-Christmas stash.  And use up some of my more colourful backgrounds.

Do come and join us at Die Cut Divas with your any holiday projects.

I'll be back tomorrow to share the Anniversary card and the Thank You card.

Christmas card with Birch Press Designs Hot foil plate.

Hi there.  Back with another card for Die Cut Divas' November challenge.   Our lovely sponsor is Birch Press Design

You can make anything as it's an "Anything Goes" challenge - just remember to use a die cut or embossing folder in your design!

Today I'm sharing a Christmas card I made.... this time using the Birch Press Design String Art Hot foil plate as it was intended - with foil!

I was lucky to be able to pick up the hot foil plate at my local online store -Krafters Cart.  I took some dark green card and used some gold foil to make the background.  In real life it tooks stunning!   I've paired it with an unbranded Poinsettia which I gold embossed before blending Altenew inks on it.  I then fussy cut it and added it with some 3D tape.   I added a Spellbinders Christmas sentiment foil foiled in gold on white.   With all the beautiful foiled gold, I didn't need to add any other embellishments.

Do come and join us - you have till 9.00pm Pacific US time on the 30th to add your card to our challenge - Nov Challenge

Use you hot foil plates a different way.

I'm up at Die Cut Divas today to share a card for our latest challenge - Anything Goes with Birch Press.

My card today uses two different products from the Birch Press Design range.... a hot foil plate and a die set.
And I'm using the hot foil plate a little different way

I took the Birch Press Hot Foil plate (String Art) and instead of using with foil, I used it to emboss my card.   I then took my green ink blending brush and using the ink already on it, blended all over the panel but leaving the centre clear.  I then used the die from Birch Press (Prime Peony Duo-contour layers) to make my focal point.  I die cut the leaves from two different greens and then cut the flower from white card and used some different pink Altenew inks to colour the different layers.  There are two different flowers and stems.  The sentiment strip is a pre-printed one from Creative Expressions Everyday Sentiment sheet.

Do come and join us at Die Cut Divas for our Anything Goes Challenge.
