Ferns x 4 - Stampin' Up!® Fern & Flora

I joke around that I am not great at stamping in the wild aka stamping away from my stamp room and the fact that I only got one card done at the Stampin' Up!® After Hours stamping event at OnStage really just proves it.  Maybe I can blame being tired after an already long day of fun or that I had a really hard time corralling the teeny tiny die cut pieces for the card I started with but I came home with the project packet mostly intact.  I decided to wait until I could order the new In Colors to finish up the set of cards and I'm really glad I did.  The projects are lovely and really show the Fern & Flora bundle well.  This suite of products will be available soon in the May-August 2026 catalog.

The patterns in the Moonlit Flora bundle are beautiful, moody botanicals and make a great background to a simple layout.

The B sides of the DSP are pretty, small patterns that can work for all sorts of themes, not just ferns like this one in the new In Color Golden Glow.  The Fern & Flora stamp set is a mix of images and sentiments.

The larger fern stamp makes lovely backgrounds or focal images or both like in this third card.  New In Colors Peaceful Pine and Golden Glow are a nice pairing here.  They work well with current In Color Secret Sea.

And this last card which is the one I started with originally that was all I could complete at the event.  This one has a healthy dose of the new Dew Drop embellishments for a finishing touch!  See those little die cut flowers?  They were what defeated me that night I think lol.  But I love the finished card and the different fern die cuts.

I hope you'll take a look at the Moonlit Flora suite when it become available on May 5.

Thanks for looking!  Did you stamp today?

Lovely Leftovers - Stampin' Up! Lovely Little Wreath Paper Pumpkin

I've started hosting a Kit Together night for my customers to gather and work on putting together kits or Paper Pumpkins.  It fun to get together to chat and craft and all the design work is already done so there's no pressure.  I've bought some new kits but I also have a small stack of really old Paper Pumpkin boxes that were never put together that I'm going to work on during these gatherings.  The most recent Kit Together saw me doing the Lovely Little Wreath Paper Pumpkin kit from April 2016. It's embarrassing to have had this kit for so long just sitting on my shelf! But since it's spring I thought it was the perfect time to do it.  The wreath came out really cute but I ended up with a bunch of extra pieces that were too good to just recycle so I made a card with them and added in some die cut flowers from the upcoming Impressions Abloom die set.

I started with a Mossy Meadow card base.  Using another panel of Mossy Meadow I adhered the leftover strips of leaves that were used to make the original wreath across the panel and overlapped them until I ran out.

I used some of the leftover wide natural ribbon to cover the top of the leaf panel and then adhered it all to the card front.

The Impressions Abloom dies were used to die cut the flowers in Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight and Very Vanilla for the centers.  I arranged the flowers around the black tag (also a kit leftover) stamped with the kit stamp set in White craft ink.

I added a Very Vanilla baker's twine bow and some Adhesive-Backed Dots for Days in Crushed Curry.  Like using up that pack of DSP last week, it was very satisfying to use up the leaves and some of the other supplies for this card.

Garden of Thanks - Stampin' Up! Garden of Thanks Kit

I have to be honest that in the past I've not been much of a kit stamper but now I'm starting to come around.  The kits have definitely gotten better and now there are so many alternative ideas out there sharing different card projects as well as scrapbook pages that I feel like you can use your creativity with them more than in the past.  But just following the kit instructions is perfect for low stress stamping that nets you a gorgeous stack of cards ready to send out!  I was thankful to have just recently hosted a Kit Together event right after my birthday so it was lovely to have some beautiful thank you cards to send right out!

So pretty right??  I made the 9 cards as they were designed because honestly I'm too busy chatting at this event to pay attention to much else but I really don't think I could have improved on them too much!

If you're in the Richmond, VA area my next Kit Together event is April 15 at 7pm and I'd love for you to join me! If you're not local to me and want to gather with some friends for your own Kit Together event you can order your kits HERE and then pick a date to gather.  It's really as easy as that!

Thanks for looking!  Did you stamp today?

All of the supplies used to make 3 each of these designs is included in the Stampin' Up! Garden of Thanks kit.  All supplies included in each kit are listed in the kit description in my ONLINE STORE.
