tion and center traverse; the panoramic telescope
(and telescope mount extension) are removed
from the mount and placed in the carrying case.
Covers are placed on the panoramic telescope
mount and elevation quadrant. The breech is
closed and the road locks are fastened. A guide
rope is attached to the muzzle of the howitzer.
(4) The lifting sling is attached to the cradle,
and the howitzer so maneuvered that the cap
screws and taper stud bolts may be unfastened
