It’s paryushan time and if you are looking for high protein recipes, then this chaat is a perfect option. It’s super delicious and quite filling too. 
 
Recipe - 

Ingredients - Gravy 
Oil - 1/2 tbsp 
Besan - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1.5 tsp
Soaked & pressure cooked dried  peas - 1 cup
Dried pudina powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste 
Water - 1 cup

TIKKIS-

Crumbled paneer - 1/2 cup
Pressure cooked & mashed chole - 1/2 cup
Oats powder - 1/3 cup
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Amchur powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste 

For assembling - 
Imli chutney 
Boondi 

Method - 
1. In a pan add in oil and besan roast it well until aromatic 
Then add all the dry spices along with the boiled green peas , water, pudina powder and salt

For those of who don’t know “Thatte” means plate, so these are Steamed in plates and thus the name. Now these are much softer than regular Idlis and literally just melt in your mouth types . These are popular in Bangalore, but this instant version requires no overnight fermentation, you can make the idlys as soon as the batter is ready. 

Paryushan Instant Thatte Idly Recipe -

Ingredients - 
Regular raw rice - 2 cups
Poha - 1 1/4 cup
Thick curd - 1 cup
Water - 1/2 cup (Approx) add more if required
Salt - 1.5 tsp
Eno soda - 1 tbsp or a sachet

Method -
Soak the Rice and Poha separately for 3 hrs
Then grind both in batches (half rice - half Poha)
Add curd while grinding, and water if required.
