Just wanted to check in...BLOGGER and I have had ISSUES!! Looping sign ins...Can't leave comments on some of your blogs.....GEEEEZ....I created a blog on Wordpress and go in that way to your blogs but some of you don't allow Name-URL so I'm blown out of the water! Just know I'm reading you but if you don't see a comment from me it's because until Blogger gets their act together and finds a fix...well...don't know what else to do but just go to Wordpress! I'll duplicate my last two post over there to catch up if you want to comment...I guess you still can here but I don't know if I'll be able to respond...but I'll try...

Do You Know?

I had to run to HEB this morning and this is what I found...Goodness! You could smell them a mile away! They smell just like Hyacinth. The clerk didn't know what they were so I decided one of YOU might know. I also got a shot of them in a cream color.
Well Blogger was giving me such fits, I thought maybe if I upgraded to the new Blogger, the commenting problem for me, would stop...guess again! Now I can't find the button to return to Classic Blogger...I AM in the slow process of getting a Word Press blog though... I'll let you know when it's up and running. I don't want to get rid of this one because of the widgets that are offered here and not on Word Press. At least if something happens Here, I'll have a back-up blog! It was SO simple to import this blog to that one!
Well, I'll cut it short for tonight. Tomorrow is already Thursday! Enjoy your evening!

And Then.....

Evenin' Folks! What a day....Hubby asked me to come feel him last night....STOP THAT!Hahaaa....Geeez, what a group! His....FOREhead....He had, the Fevers! SO, I demanded he stay home today from work! He Obeyed! It wasn't bad...everyone at the shop did what I told them to do....NOT!!Hahahaaa.....gads! I can see you fell for That one alright! I have no power there...none...zip. I did bring donuts...and make coffee....and walked around with an invoice in my hand looking official-like...nobody cared.
THEN, I heard on the news that Mr Camping was at it again. He'd admitted he's made a mistake on the May 21st date for Rapture to take place....yeppers...Now it's going to be October 21st....Bless their little hearts, but if anyone else listens to that man...they get what they deserve. Imagine him farting around with predictions while SO many people are suffering and in pain today!! Yes...I'm taking issue with him...the moron!
OkOkOk....I'm better....Ughhhhhh!
THEN, Blogger gives me fits, posting comments, almost all friggin day! What is up with Blogger these days? I should go back to Word Press (if I had a brain which I don't)! I could load all my post on it so if something awful happens Here, the last 4 years will not have been in vain. Decisions...procrastination.

Now I'm home again...ahhhhh....peace and quiet. Here's hoping you all have a nice, quiet evening. I'm going in search of my dark closet and huddle for a while!Hahaaa.... And yes, Hubby's fever is now...gone. To WORK with him tomorrow!

Three Things I Learned While My Plane Crashed...

Well, I'm still here, no rapture...not even a cup of coffee to go. I'm Still trying to wrap my mind around how Mr. Camping decided that yesterday was THE day. Oh, I KNOW where he got his ideas but not the WHYS of his ideas. How many people had their lives destroyed by believing in this Man...How many families were torn apart. My personal belief is to:
1. LOVE (This is #1 in my life...Without love, well, just Imagine your life without it...)
2. Just, Believe! (What else can you DO? Worry? Cry? Blame? Not me...call me crazy)
3. Happy (I think this word speaks for itself...50% of the time I don't feel it...and Just when I'm about ready to pull my hair out...Happy shows up!
So, what about YOU? Have you given this old life another chance? What will you do differently? Anything? Nothing? What are YOUR Three things?
As for me...I'm Happy just like I am...mostly. Sure I have things I need to change and work on...I'm human. But, MY Three things??? They will NEVER change....
The guy in the video got a hair raising shock...I Do Not want "shock" in my life...Hahahaaa...well...NOT the kind he had...My kind of shock is the "spinach-between-the-teeth kind, and that's okay.... I can deal with that.
So Have a HAPPY Sunday Gang and be grateful you have someone to tell you about the Spinich...there...huhhh...right there....ok, you got it...Hahaaaa

Challenging...

Good FRIDAY Morning! I am SO happy that it's the last day of the work week! Came to work yesterday and Crystal brought our grandson, William to work...He didn't want to go swimming at a local water park so he came to work with Mom. I wasn't really feeling 100% so I saw a perfect opportunity to GO HOME! With Will!Hahaaa....My head DID hurt!!! DID TOO!!
Anyway...Humph....I feel a bit better today and am really looking forward to being lazy this weekend!

I Wish...

I wish that I had a Big old honking slab of this bread, hot, out of the oven...all slathered with real butter! There would be a house to go with this fantasy...Old, two story, white clapboard...high on a rock and sandy hill. Its front porch facing the Atlantic Ocean so when I close my eyes, I can listen to the waves....feel the wind as it glides across my skin. A warm and comfy chair to sit in, pulling my feet up and covering them with a colorful patchworked quilt. A big, chunky, coffee cup full of my favorite brew...my hands warmed by its heat. Seagulls flying high overhead, singing their song...yep...I wish...
I've Really 'gotta cut back on the sugar!Hahaaaa....Happy day everyone!

Baby Possum Visitor...

Boy! Blogger has been a little troublemaker! Been down for at least 24 hours...Hope they finally got all their maintaining stuff done!
This photo was taken by David the Plumber back in our warehouse this morning. David was in there getting parts when, he Says, this baby possum scares the living daylights out of him! Hissing and carrying on....Hahaaaa....Of course you wouldn't want to play with him (super razor sharp teeth) but I think he's cute! I'm not sure where "momma" is. He may be an orphan.
Well, guess I'll do something productive like go make a coffee. Y'all enjoy your weekend!!

Introducing "Dusty"

Sorry...We just couldn't stick with Buddy...Dusty is his name. I had a cat named Buddy (remember the wild one that I talked about? Well, I named him and now Hubby can't warm up to it) SO....Dusty, it is...And I KNOW he looks like he's lost his last friend but Crystal was busy getting to know him and wouldn't turn loose!Hahaaa....Oh well...he's home. Learned the dog door in 10 minutes! Now, how to make him learn what outside means...Geeeeez....Lolol

Buddy...maybe...

Thank you Daniela...This is what you do in life...you're an Angel. I remembered this place because of you...
Hubby and I had been teasing each other for a while now about getting another pet...a "someone" special. Yesterday, we were out doing the usual shopping, eating out stuff SEMI-old married folk do on Saturdays when SOMEHOW...and I'm making a long story short here....we ended up at Fuzzy Friends Adoption and Rescue Center. We had seen this newspaper clipping about a dog named Buddy but never thought he'd still be there...we went in. We were SO surprised! It was Clean, decorated...flowers everywhere...animal toys and mats...nice sized cages....and Buddy. The volunteer kept trying to get us interested in other dogs but we'd found the one we needed....Buddy. The dogs all around him were barking their poor little heads off but not Buddy. He was too busy looking at us with that special look in his eyes..."Will You Love Me?"

This is the Director...and I'm SO sorry I can't remember her name...I was in a daze...She has the 8 acre place decorated Wonderfully! Outside pens for the animals are Immaculate! Toys and fluffy beds and misters for the Texas heat! Volunteers Everywhere. AND...NO ODOR!! Anywhere!! Nada!!

Hubby and I were checked for unsavory acts of something...The interviewer wanted to draw blood for drug testing and and the Doctor wanted an organ donation...Hahaaaa....not really...just teasing...BUT they will be calling our Vet tomorrow to see if we've ever been bad parents to our other pets. Buddy has been De-Manned...shot full of antiviral goodies....and CHIPPED! I don't like That part...I told the lady I was a Conservative dadgumit!!!Hahahaa....She didn't care. Said she was one herself but Buddy was Only leaving there with his Chip....or not at all. She's one tough Woman! SO, I guess they will be able to find us when we make a run for the Border...Northern Border!! We wouldn't go anywhere Near the Southern one! Now we frigging...WAIT! She said if we haven't heard from them by Tuesday to call....With a face like this and they ask us to WAIT!!?! I really DO think I could take that old gal but we wouldn't get very far with that darn CHIP in him would we....so I guess we wait...sigh.

Hopefully we'll see you soon little Buddy. That is unless our Vet stands in our way! I can hear him now...

The one that makes your heart...melt, when their eyes meet yours, or you turn in fear when you hear a Baby scream....You did not have to have Had a child, to know the love and joy one can bring...There's just nothing better than hearing the words..."I Love You Mom"....Nothing....

Good Morning! It's Friday and I'm planning on playing on the computer ALL weekend...if I want to...Hahaaa....right.....Oh well, dreams make us feel better.

This morning I was presented with some Mother's Day Peeps by Andrew the Plumber!Hahaaa...Aren't they sweet? Also, yesterday, when I drove up to my mailbox to retrieve my mail, I was treated to a visit from a baby Blue Jay! I sat there for the longest just talking to him...and he talked back!Hahaaa....WHAT??? Well, he did!

Just want to wish all you Mothers out there, a VERY Happy Mother's Day! Enjoy your day doing exactly what you want...NO work! NO laundry! I think it's the Only day of the year us Womens' can get by with it!Lolol...Enjoy!

'Mater Time!

I found me some 'Maters!!Hahaaa....Messing around in the back yard the other day, I happened to look more closely at my tomato plants and found four small ones! Am I excited? Yes I Am! Why, you ask? Because....I am another gardener with the blasted Black Thumb Syndrome! Alright now! Stop all that eye-rolling! Last year I tried to grow....water....and you can imagine how THAT turned out! Geez!!!Hahaaa....
Well, it was a busy weekend. We had company. Didn't do anything much in the way of adventurous except eat out and shop. And YES...we did watch the Royal Wedding. I had it DVR'ed so Bev and I watched it Friday night. HE got a pretty girl, SHE had a pretty dress...hope they'll be happy....'nuff said!
So, it was back to work Monday where Hopefully, Friday will come rolling back around at a rather FAST pace! I'm ready!
