Dwarfs

I got the lot of these monopose dwarfs new in box years ago and with the changes to the Generals Handbook, taking a brick of 40 dwarfs is almost feasible, so I painted these up as a batch... that's right, a batch of 39...

I painted these up in the same fashion as my earlier dwarfs, so basecoat, wash, done. I added a little more highlights than previously, and used a brush on wash instead of the Army Painter dip.

More work on the "army," really more like a horde at this point. Artillery (not shown) and crew and Thunderers, 52 models in total. All that's left, is an additional 5 slayers, 5-6 metal thunderers, 40 clan warriors, and 20 Bugman Rangers. All that's left... oi.

So, took today and finished up all the dwarf that got dipped earlier this year, only 96 of them.

Added a simple highlight on the blue and skin and based them. Just need to do movement trays.

Well, many weekends later, I found some time to work on these guys.

Quick highlights of skin, blue and on the slayers orange, bring these guys beyond a simple dip job.

I'm fairly pleased with them, sure I could do better, but, they're painted and don't look half bad.

And all the crew. And about 5-7 character models.

And a dwarf Blood Bowl team to match.
