Pour cette seconde sortie de l’année, nous avons le plaisir d’accueillir le parisien Jumboclat, membre de l’équipe SeekSickSound et feu Exploration Music.

Auteur d’un premier EP solo sur l’écurie de Flore POLAAR et auteur du très remarqué ‘Tell Me’ sur Vernacular Records, il est également versé dans l’art du footwork comme en témoignent ses productions sorties sur Le French Work.

Ce ‘Cloverleaf EP’ concentre l’essence de ce qu’il fait de mieux : du 2-step profond et émotionnel de ‘B With U’ aux breakbeats acérés de ‘Timeslip’, la production est méticuleuse, tantôt sombre et tantôt empreinte de nostalgie, entre hommage aux musiques et sonorités caribéennes et sound design futuriste. Pour compléter l’EP, Stacktrace signe un remix dub mental et oppressant du morceau titre de la sortie.

For the second release of the year, we’re delighted to welcome Paris-based Jumboclat, member of SeekSickSound and Exploration Music (RIP).

Author of a first solo release on Flore’s POLAAR imprint and producing the acclaimed ‘Tell Me’ released on Vernacular Records, he is also well versed in footwork, as demonstrated by his tunes on Le French Work.

His ‘Cloverleaf EP’ is a concentrate of everything he does best : from the emotional an deep 2-step ‘B With U’ to the razor sharp breakbeats of ‘Timeslip’, the prouction is meticulous, deep and melancholic, an ode to the carribean sounds and cultures blended with futuristic sound design. To round off the EP, Stacktrace delivers a psychedelic and oppressive dub remix of the title track.
