Festive Finery

Making patterns with quilled shapes is very relaxing and is suitable for Christmas Bauble cards and decorations. The quilling sits in a recess where the aperture is lifted from the background with foam pads. These pretty baubles are in the October issue of Crafts Beautiful magazine pages 12 - 13 and also on the cover of the magazine!

Geometric Snowflakes

A variation on the usual quilled snowflakes can be found in the latest issue of Crafts Beautiful magazine November issue out now. I've used a Border Buddy Tool ™ to make diamonds of paper, then they are glued together for a geometric design. Although its a bright sunny autumn day here in the UK it's not too early to planning snowflake cards and decorations......

Quilled Christmas Baubles

Crafts Beautiful magazine Christmas Special is out now (yes it is still September!) and features my quilled baubles on the cover and full project with steps on pages 24 and 25. The quilling is set in the bauble shaped apertures of the cards which makes them a slightly different design I hope quillers will like.

August Bank Holiday Christmas Crafting

It's quite hard to think of Christmastime on this sunny and warm August Bank Holiday here in the UK! Generally our Bank Holidays are cold, raining and about staying indoors, however my quilled robins are on the cover of PaperCrafter magazine issue 112( Robins were first seen in Crafts Beautiful magazine last year) and my die cut forest card is also on the cover. The forest card can be found on page 89 in the feature "Ask the Experts".
