Disambiguation link notification for November 30
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora III, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cruiserweight. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

March 2023
editHello, I'm Schazjmd. I noticed that you recently removed content from Tony Mundine (boxer) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Please consider reading up on Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts before editing further. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. WARNING
editWarning Do not edit while logged out. You appear to have been editing under an IP address which has been blocked for disruptive editing. The block is about to expire so I am not going to block your account, but this is a serious no no and normally would result in long term block. If you are making substantive changes to article, it is important that you give a short explanation of your edit in the summary box. Thank you for your contributions to the project and adherence to community guidelines and policies. -Ad Orientem (talk) 16:31, 16 July 2023 (UTC)

- @FMSky Those edits are stale. Also in the previous case their IP was blocked, so it was exceptionally problematic. @LRQ 98 Again, I must warn you that editing while logged out is strongly discouraged as it can create the appearance of trying to avoid scrutiny for your edits at the very least. Please do not do this. Thank you. -Ad Orientem (talk) 15:12, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
- I was under the impression my edits of late were made while I was logged in, if not, I can only apologise. I have been trying to remain logged in recently. LRQ 98 (talk) 15:16, 21 July 2023 (UTC)

editHello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Mike Tyson did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. It appears you have done a substantial and competent restructuring of the article, but a lack of edit summaries makes it harder to review, and 671 editors currently watch the article. I hope you will try to explain your subsequent edits to articles as this lends to a more professional development effort for us all. Stefen Towers among the rest! editPlease stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Psycho (1960 film), you may be blocked from editing. Is the inline note unclear? DonIago (talk) 02:11, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
"The team competes in..." sentence
editLook at the larger English clubs (e.g. Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal). They all use the format "[Team] compete in the Premier League, the top flight of English football." (or something similar). The sentence should make it clear that the club is competing at the highest level in its country. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 11:56, 6 February 2024 (UTC)

- I simply feel that as an Area champion, who challenged once for the British title & twice for the commonwealth title. Not to mention towards the latter part of his career held the record for most wins of any active British boxer. He is notable. There are countless Wikipedia pages for journeymen fighters who do not have any of these achievements that aren’t deleted. Ones which never had documentaries or autobiographies on their careers. I am more than happy to add to & improve this page myself. However, I will not waste my time should the page be deleted. LRQ 98 (talk) 02:36, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
