“The application is good and the coverage depends on chosen supplier. Some suppliers are good, others need to be enhanced. The speed and coverage depends on the service provider and on the country infrastructure. Rate is acceptable.”
“Bought a 1gb EU 30 days sim. Data never worked. Phone works fine withnother eSIMs asked support about help and APN info. Have not hear back from them in 48h. Asked for refund, will dispute credit card charges if no contact. So far a total bust and or scam.”
“Wifio is best-in-class. Full stop.
Security: Direct connection to a Swiss network operator (no routing through third-party providers like a lot of others).
Speed: Real 5G. No marketing fluff, it just performs.
Price: Honestly, there’s nothing cheaper that delivers at this level!”
“Nice”
“The esim worked great. It provided great connectivity where ever we went and great speeds too. The esim worked as soon as the flight landed and gave no problems throughout the trip.”
“I ordered several eSIMs for my team for our trip to Switzerland. The coverage and speed were amazing and super reliable! Everyone was really happy. I totally recommend it.”
“10gb sim used across Europe. Worked great for 10 days, then suddenly the speed just dropped to 40kbps despite still showing 5G.
Customer service non-existant. No response to live chat or useful info online so had to buy another sim from jetpac.”
“Bought two of their O2 50gb plans. One worked fairly well, the other refused to work in most of Spain. Nonexistent support. Poor performance. Would not buy again.”
“Wifio is a hidden gem in the eSIM jungle!
I had a great experience, the connection was exactly as promised: extremely fast, stable, and truly unlimited.
I ended up staying in Switzerland longer than planned, and extending the eSIM was super easy. Amazing support and overall experience. I’ll definitely book with Wifio again!”
“My chip only worked for a little more than a day. I was able to consume around 10% of the 4 gigas I bought before stopped working.
Impossible to find help from you.
Don't buy.”
“Pretty good experience overall, the internet breakouts mentioned in their data plan are accurate. One issue I encountered was when switching between network it takes a minutes to few minutes to get a connection back.”
“eSIM from Airhub did not work at all. I followed their installation guide. When contacted their support, they told me that my eSIM connected to an unsupported network and can not be used. They could not provide any details, just told me that my eSIM is wasted. No replacement, no refund. Terrible product! Stay away!”
“The SIM does not come with a phone number.”
“airalo works great in the UK, Hungary, France, etc. No issues.
In Switzerland they use Pilatus Mobile, which doesn't work: long activation times, and when it's finally active - you'd be lucky to get a place where you get some bits of data.
The rating below refers to airalo CH, otherwise, it's good.”
“It's good.”
“Before using Airhub, I had no experience with eSIMs. However, after discovering Airhub through the eSIMdb website, I now plan on using it for all my future travels as it has been a lifesaver. With Airhub, I have found it to be easy to use, but it did take me a few chats to understand the new technology, now that I have the hang of it, it works perfectly, even in remote areas of Switzerland. the app offers excellent value, and because I'm frequently in and out of wifi, it lasts for a long time.

“I orderd a Unlimited Data E-Sim for Switzerland for 5 days. After the Payment i just got a Recipt by E-Mail but no QR Code or anything which i can use the E-Sim. After i contacted the Live Chat Support and waited few mins the Support did tell me that there was a bug in they System and i should get the E-Mail in up to 10 Mins. After more then 1 Hour i still didnt get anything.
I cant recommend AirHub at the Current Time.

Everything you need to know about using eSIMs in Switzerland
We have 150 providers and 8, 800 prepaid data plans available for Switzerland. There is a wide variety of options, making it easy for travelers to find an eSIM that suits their needs.
Unlimited data eSIM plans for Switzerland are available from several providers. Prices for these plans run from about $2.50 to $20.31 USD for various validity periods. Most plans allow tethering, although the service may be throttled. Specific speed limits are noted for a few providers: Firsty caps the speed at 256 kbps, while Yoho Mobile and abesteSIM set a maximum speed of 5 Mbps. Other offers simply state that speed may be throttled during usage. Travelers should review these details and select a plan that matches both their data needs and desired speed.
In Switzerland, the primary Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) are:
Swisscom: The largest telecommunications provider in Switzerland, offering extensive coverage and a comprehensive range of mobile services.
Sunrise UPC: A major operator resulting from the merger of Sunrise Communications and UPC Switzerland, providing a variety of mobile services with significant network coverage.
Salt Mobile: The third-largest mobile network operator in Switzerland, focusing on mobile telephony and fiber-optic fixed-line services.
In addition to these MNOs, Switzerland hosts several Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs). MVNOs offer mobile services by leasing access from major carriers. Examples of local MVNOs include Coop Mobile and M-Budget, which operate on the Swisscom network. However, most travel eSIMs rely on the infrastructure of the primary MNOs rather than MVNOs.
Travel eSIMs that include a phone number and SMS are available for use while traveling in Switzerland. Several providers offer such options, including GlobaleSIM, Roamify, eSimfly, Orange Travel, LinkeSIM and SimOptions. These plans provide inbound and outbound voice calls as well as inbound or inbound/outbound SMS, but the phone numbers are issued from foreign dialing codes rather than a local Swiss number.
Typical packages start around $4 for a 1 GB, 7‑day plan and can go up to roughly $125 for 500 GB over 90 days, with validity periods ranging from 1 day to 365 days depending on the provider and data volume. Travelers can therefore use a dedicated phone number for calls and texts while in Switzerland, though it will appear as a number from another country such as the United States (+1) or France (+33).
