 If you wished for some brand new Eyelet Outlet Brads in the next couple of weeks, then you're in luck because we have some beauties coming out, including these gorgeous Rose Brads!

Rose Brads would be a beautiful addition to just about any card, tag or journal page; they'd be lovely in a vase, climbing up a fence or pretty much ANYWHERE you'd care to place them, but I (Lauren) have to say that I'm pretty pleased with how they look on top of a birthday cake! I've also used four gorgeous Eyelet Outlet Washi Tape Styles: Pink Checked, Green Pattern Tape, Wood Washi and Heart Tape from our Valentine Washi Set; and framed up this sweet little tableau with some Green Pearl Strips and added a Candle Brad to boot.

The Key To My Heart

Vintage, Victorian, "Shabby Chic" Valentines? Oh yes! 

I absolutely love this beautiful, vintage, rose patterned washi tape and was inspired to create a more Victorian or shabby chic Valentine card! I started with kraft cardstock and a key stamp to create my background. I then added the rose washi down the left with the pink pearl strip. I stamped my sentiment "Amour" and layered with red and pink cardstock. I then decided to add a little more ephemera to create a layered look. Lastly I banner cut the "Happy Valentine's Day" washi for the top and embellished with the new "coming-soon" rose brads and a few pearls from the pearl strip!

Wonderful Idea for Washi Tape!!

Check out this fun idea on how to use Washi Tape on your greeting cards.

Start with a simple card base...and add your washi.

I used a metal ruler to "cut" the edges cleanly when the washi was already laid on the card base.

Then, I added fun stickers for the image and sentiment.

But you know that background is the highlight of the card!
