“US President Donald Trump on Wednesday delivered an incoherent primetime address in which he threatened to bomb Iran “back to the Stone Ages” while also claiming negotiations to end the conflict were ongoing, remarks that provided no clear indication of when or how the illegal war of choice would end.

“President Donald Trump ran on promises to cut energy prices “in half” within his first year in office. But according to a report released Wednesday, he’s done the exact opposite, and it’s expected to get much worse as oil prices soar from his war with Iran.

The new estimate comes amid warnings that the war, now in its fourth week, could "cost the US trillions of dollars in the decades to come."
