Teradata, a global cloud software company, told its 5,100 employees in January not to expect an annual salary raise this year as it reallocate the budget toward AI investments, according to an internal memo seen by Business Insider and not previously reported.
I don’t know but how could they rig Conor McGregors broken leg?
And verify my age. No thank you.
Get on Facebook and find the authors supporting authors group. Post it there and see the feedback. Make sure you make it very apparent you did not use Ai.
On the other hand, put this in ChatGPT or something and ask it for its “opinion”
I wished that I could have every single video game ever made
With emulation it is possible to do that.
But you fall out of the video game hobby and you don’t find enjoyment out of playing.
I used to work for a large corporation. I was on a team of 10 people. My whole job was to run three queries and copy and paste it to excel and send it off on tuesdays. I would do it on Tuesday mornings and it took me about an hour.
My teammates had similar tasks. They were in charge of one report or handout and they would automate so much it would take them about an hour to do.
One day our manager tells us we are getting a new team member because our work load is going to increase substantially.
The new person got their own report. And they messaged me once, “I am done with my report what do I do next?”
I responded, “wait until next week and do the same report”
I was at the company for ten years.
A company I worked for was “awarded” several million dollars from Trump. The CEO was awarded a bonus for the same amount they got for the government.
To answer your question, if you have a million dollars, donate it to Trump. Then you can see your million dollar “investment” reap tenfold.
No I have never heard him talk. He just puts questions in chat and other attendees answer them.
Our 1:1 is via chat.
Yes I’m fully remote. Never met anybody face to face
Have you tried multi color prints? Those are fun especially when you think of all the different filament that’s out there.
Video games, 3D printing, and movies/television.
Modern video games are nothing more than a linear hand holding experience with hours of pre-rendered cut scenes. If I am interested in a game, I watch a streamer play it long enough for me to be bored then I read the plot on Wikipedia.
I used to have multiple 3d printers going. But after one broke down, I didn’t have the motivation to fix it.
Movies and television shows are the same slop with tired tropes. I watched Con Air with my son the other day and he was amazed with the difference between the acting and presentation in the 1990s compared to today.
Become an LLC.
LLC’s have more rights than citizens.
You start an LLC, name it something lawyer sounding like the last names of your friends but never call it a law firm. Call it civil representation.
Then when you get a customer not a client you can send letters on their behalf.
Most people freak out when they get an official looking letter with a “law name” on it. I’m not talking about the minority of people on here, but the majority of the population.
As long as you disclose your LLC does not practice law and you are simply “representing them” in a very general and broad sense you will be good.
They still have it but it is not as common as it once was. Pizza Hut has a book it nonprofit they funnel money into.
I married her. That’s pretty crazy to dedicate your entire life to one person. But I knew I found my soulmate for life. Been married for over 20 years now.
Nobody thinks about that but yes it would. You are not immune to the black plague so you might get that even if you are vaccinated. Plus who knows how many viruses and diseases happened back then.
Stone cold vs the rock. In the middle of the attitude era.
Yes. And people just eat it up. I get it. I got caught up in the “hustle and grind” of life. I tried multiple income sources and I was proudly working 80 hours/week while missing my children grow up. But a life altering event caused me to pause and reassess my life. I started working less and spending more time with my family. I worked on myself from being low tempered to be more “go with the flow”
I know they are paywalled but they give so much information.
I had a contractor that took my money and ran. I used one of those reverse lookup sites with just his name and phone number and I got his address as well as his relatives.
He did not like the fact I had a deputy serve him his court appearance or the time when I called his mother to confirm his data before the court date.
Long story short, I won the case. He claimed no assets so I will never get paid back.
People’s intuition on risk is wildly off here.
Skydiving sounds insane, but in the U.S. it’s \~9–10 deaths a year out of millions of jumps (roughly 1 in a few hundred thousand per jump).
Driving feels normal, but it kills \~40,000+ people every single year.
So yeah—both involve “transportation,” but the one everyone does casually every day is orders of magnitude deadlier than the one that sounds extreme.
if all birds sing and if they do why do geese honk, ducks quack, and chickens bawk?

Who's your "Oh no. I don't want to work with this person. It's the worst!!"

Why do you post here or other social media?
Do you do it for clout? To vent? To feel better? To inform others? Or is it something else entirely?

Is my supervisor an AI bot?
Something strange has been happening at my job over the last 90 days, and I am trying to understand what is really going on.

When will gas stations start selling rotisserie chicken?
