LTSCB#181: Pure Sympathy

Hello Crafty Friends!!  Hard to believe that Fall is right here, few weeks away.  I hope everyone enjoyed their summer.

This post is for LTSCB Anything Goes.

With age comes cards like this more often than I would like.  Since I had all my embossing items out, I decided to emboss this stamped image.  It's Tomb Fragments from Technique Junkies.  Kept it simple, with a little cording, that I did knotting just to add something to the cords.

Here's the inside.

MLCCB#70: Wrap It Up Reindeer

 Hello Crafty Friends!!

Here's my post for MLCCB, Anything Christmas all year long is allowed.

Due to a very hectic summer, much coloring didn't happen.  Easy and simple cards are needed.  I stamped this image at the beginning of the year, thought about coloring it, but decided not to.  He looks cute and rustic on the kraft paper.  Some holiday paper behind him and a velvet ribbon.  Velvet reminds me of Christmas for some reason.  The image is from Unity stamps.

Here's the inside.

LTCCB #94: Diorama

 Hello Crafty Friends!

This post is for LTCCB, Anything Crafty Goes.

I made a Diorama.  Sometimes when you are traveling, you need a book to keep you occupied.  Since I can't pack up all my crafty stuff, some pages out of a big book of things to do was all I needed. Just had to cut the squares out, then cut out the center leaving the images.

Here's the book, just in case you need something else to do.

This is the top view.

MIUCB#85: Christmas Embossing

 Hello Crafty Friends!

Here's my post for MIUCB, this challenge is about embossing.  It can be wet or dry embossing on your projects.

Making sure I keep on top of the Christmas cards needed this year, I did an easy embossing card.  I embossed the tree and a couple of the stars.
Embossing on textured paper can be tricky, but it can be done.
Here's the inside.

LTCCB #93: Coloring Class for Practice

Hello Crafty Friends ;o)  Happy Summer and sunshine.

Here's my post for LTCCB, Anything Crafty Goes

If you have been following me for awhile, you know I started classes at Kit and Clowder in 2015.  Why do I keep taking classes if I already know how to color?  New techniques and practice, practice, practice. This is the March 2026 class for color pencils.  I use prismacolor pencils for all my colorings.  I'm sure a fairy lives in this magical home.

MIUCB #83: Clemson Graduation

Hello Crafty Friends :o)

This is my post for MIUCB, Anything Goes, with the option of creating your own background.

Another son graduating, this time from Clemson, hence the colors. The donkey image is from Unity Stamps and so are all the sentiments that created the background.  I didn't want to take away from the image I colored with my prismacolor pencils, so I used versamark ink for the background.

Here's the inside with another sentiment from the same stamp set.

stamps: Unity Stamps: Hee Haw You Did It
paper: Recollections

LTCCB #92: Strange Plants

Hello Crafty Friends!  Spring is here and the flowers and plants are starting to look beautiful. I decided to share some of my plants .... they are a little different.

This is my post for LTCCB, Anything Crafty Goes

They are different because they are felt knitting plants.  I have shared some of my past felt knitting projects, now something fun and different.  My boys got me this kit and it's enough to make several funny plants. I'm sharing the two they ask me to make....so far.

This one is a little goofy.  I love the teeth and horn on this one. Different type of cactus, I'm sure he is harmless.

A little surprise in the pot, like Harry Potter.  I like how you have to pull the plant out to see the character and it's a cutie.  The kit came with 3 little clay pots and many different designs, but they really want you to create a plant of your own.  If you haven't tried felt knitting, you really should give it a try.
