Happy to report that Parasound support is outstanding. They received my P5 late last Wednesday, replaced the volume pot and it was delivered to me today. That’s fast. Very impressed with their customer service.

Well to answer your question about support, I emailed support late last night and the President of Parasound responded first thing this morning with a personal email saying they would take care of it. I would say that’s first rate customer service.

Yeah it’s not that old I am sure they will direct me to a local service shop or I ship to them. I don’t see them exchanging.

I just muted the Aries lightning app and rotated the knob back and forth. Will post the outcome of Parasound support.

That seemed to help a little it’s very faint and only noticeable on certain types of music when adjusting the volume. Will contact Parasound support.

I have an A-S501 paired with some 703s in my home office and have been impressed with this integrated. For the room it’s plenty of power. I have heard good things about 801. Have you considered a used Parasound Integrated. Built in DAC and 160 WPC.

I have heard the Yamaha R-N303 and it is nice for bookies but I don’t think has near enough grunt for the A7s. Look at the Yamaha Aventage series or Marantz as well. If you can get your hands on a Parasound P5. It’s a very versatile pre, built in DAC and HT bypass.

I got the same Yamaha for a girl I was dating and it’s a nice little unit. Your daughter should be pleased. FWIW I paired with some S15s I found on CL for $100. Good synergy.

I echo what Mrloren said. Find a used B&K or Parasound, your ears will thank you.
