Nevertheless this is a forum to exchange experiences of iPasOS26 and its bugs, we may not have found them all. They may not all be universal.Of course its buggy, its a developer beta.
The files are from “MS One Drive”I cannot reproduce this at all. From the screenshot you are accessing shared files where exactly?
that seems to be something Microsoft has to fix then, I assume. Try accessing through Apple’s Files app as a workaround. The files are from “MS One Drive”
After reboot, respring it opens
But then again, it fails for 2nd attempt
It’s working well now, and the smaller files are now syncing from MS One Drivethat seems to be something Microsoft has to fix then, I assume. Try accessing through Apple’s Files app as a workaround.
Did you do anything to make it work or did it fix it by itself? It’s working well now, and the smaller files are now syncing from MS One Drive
I saved some files directly to the Apple Files app, and that was working well, the MS One Drive seems to be still glitchy, but thats fair for nowDid you do anything to make it work or did it fix it by itself?
I tried my best to replicate what you described, and I got none of that behavior. I'm running 26.1 public beta 2.Preview is still buggy in 26.0.1. ☹️
Open a pdf, then go back to the Home Screen. Tap the icon in the Dock for your open pdf, and you get a new Preview window instead.
Okay, so use Exposé to get back to your open pdf instead. When you do that, the pdf is zoomed to 150% or something, instead of the 100% that you had it at before. And there’s a chance (I see this inconsistently) that the sidebar will reappear in the document window if you’ve hidden it.
This lack of attention to obvious details is an embarrassment.
It’s good to see that they are fixing it. 👍 But it shouldn’t have shipped with such absurd bugs.I tried my best to replicate what you described, and I got none of that behavior. I'm running 26.1 public beta 2.
Yes, I am thinking about something like that, because Preview doesn’t retain state between sessions, and so doesn’t really qualify as a pdf reader per se (which is perfectly fine). You could try the Acrobat app now that you can change a file to open with a different application with “Always Open With”. One of the new wonders of iPadOS 26.
