En hektisk jobbuke, men det ble i alle fall tid til en liten tur på strandpromenaden i Catanzaro Lido. Sesongen var ikke helt i gang, men noen hadde funnet veien helt ned til vannkanten. Som jeg ønsket meg noen timer på stranda! Men tilbake her i landet har jeg opplevd like fine sommerdager. Bare så synd at pliktene atter kaller og at jeg er langt hjemmefra.

My monochrome images in colors
I often wonder how the monochrome images I see around will look like in colors ... so here are mine - but only posts from Italy this time! Last one first!
Gerace is a town and comune in the province of Reggio Calabria, Calabria, Italy. The town stands on a hill formed of conglomerates of sea fossils from 60 millions years ago. Gerace is located about 10 km inland from Locri. The view from Gerace is fantastic, all the way round the hill!

This ancient castle in the sea lies on the Ionian coast, land of ancient traditions, in the locality of Punta delle Castella, Province of Crotone, Region of Calabria. There are settlements that date back to the period of the Great Charter (VI cent. BC) and to the Roman one (II-I cent. BC).

My hubby on the beach in Tropea
Tropea is a municipality located within the province of Vibo Valentia, in Calabria. The town is situated on a reef in the gulf of St. Euphemia (Western Calabria) in the Tyrrhenian Sea. Tropea is a famous bathing place, but we visited in October so we were lonly on the beach.
