Founded in 1975 by Bill Gates, Microsoft is an American software company known for its operating system, Windows. The current and new Microsoft logo has been in use since 2012 and it’s made from four colored squares: blue, red, green and yellow. Each color represents a product of the technology company: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Xbox and Bing. The Microsoft color palette consists of orange red, green, blue, yellow and gray. The previous, classic Microsoft logo was used from 1987 to 2012.
