John Huber's FBI-Justice Department probe shrouded in mystery

Roughly one year after U.S. Attorney John Huber was appointed to investigate whether accusations that the FBI and Justice Department abused their powers during the 2016 election season merit prosecution, his work remains shrouded in mystery.

Likely witnesses tell The Washington Times that they haven’t heard from him, though they are eager to tell what they know.

Nor has Mr. Huber kept congressional overseers in the loop on his activities.

“I would just like to know what he’s doing,” Rep. Jim Jordan, Ohio Republican, told The Times. “I’ll take anything. All I know is that we haven’t heard a single thing about what he’s doing.”

Clement L. Vallandigham was born July 29, 1820, in New Lisbon, Ohio. He was Scots-Irish on his mother’s side (Laird) and Flemish Huguenot on his father’s side (Van Landegham).

Vallandigham was educated at New Lisbon Academy and Jefferson College in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. He built a respected law practice and became a popular political speaker. His qualifications helped open the door for his election in 1845 as the Ohio State legislature’s youngest member. Vallandigham admired Southern character and honor; there was a personal aspect as well because the South (Stafford, Virginia) was part of his family lineage. He opposed a strong central government and slavery, but felt the Federal government should not interfere where it existed.

GOP Patsy Arrested for Democrat-Staged Fake Bombs

Authorities have made an arrest in Florida regarding the string of mail bombs targeting Democrats that have been discovered over the last few days. The suspect has been identified as Cesar Sayoc, (aka Cesar Alieri or Cesar Altieri Randazzo), a man with an extensive record, including a 2002 bomb threat and other charges up to 2015, as well as a bankruptcy filing in 2012, who registered Republican in 2016. Early reports showed a van plastered with pro-Trump political stickers and slogans being towed away by authorities. I guarantee you however, that this was a setup hatched by Democrats to shore up their flagging support as we head to the elections now less than two weeks away.

The entire operation is just too obvious.

David Cypkin’s girlfriend texted him a news story Friday morning, soon after Cesar Sayoc was arrested on suspicion of sending multiple mail bombs. She asked him: “Is that the van?”

It was the van. On Dec. 31, 2017, after months of seeing the van parked in front of a Jewish grocery store near his south Florida home, Cypkin, a documentary filmmaker, took some pictures of it — and wondered about its owner.

Florida Poll: Republican DeSantis Takes Lead over Socialist Democrat Gillum in Governor Race

A new poll released on Wednesday shows Republican Ron DeSantis leading Democrat Andrew Gillum in Florida’s race for Governor.

Of the 800 likely voters surveyed, 48 percent of voters said they intend to vote for DeSantis on November 6, while only 45 percent of voters said they will support Gillum.

Approximately 79 percent of DeSantis’s supporters said their vote is decided, compared to 87 percent of Gillum supporters.

The poll also showed that DeSantis is viewed favorably by 43 percent of likely Florida voters, while Gillum is viewed favorably by 40 percent.

Also revealed in the poll is incumbent Democrat Bill Nelson leading Republican Rick Scott by one point.

Of the 800 likely voters, 46 percent said they will vote for Bill Nelson, while 45 percent said they plan vote for Rick Scott.

The survey, conducted for Gray Television by Strategic Research Associates, LLC, collected results from October 16 through October 23. The margin of error for the full sample is +/- 3.46%.

The stickers  look brand new, as I mentioned before.

First off, if Cesar Sayoc is guilty and is not a patsy, then I will honestly admit that I was wrong. I have been wrong before, it doesn't hurt. I approach everything from the desire for truth. I was attentive to the claims of Christine Ford, but after listening to her testimony, while compelling, it did not have the sort of truth markers I look for in any testimony such as 1) corroborating testimony (in excess of the highly subjective "I believe her" statements) 2) evidence 3) enough details of the crime so that the accused can either refute or confirm 4) contemporary claims supporting the accusation 5) a pattern of behavior of the accused that is consistent with the claims of the accuser). Ford offered none of these, so I did not believe her, especially as the politics benefited one party over the other.

The Democrats promote open borders (the [Dianne] Feinstein bill has been endorsed by every Senate Democrat), hostility toward American law enforcement, raising taxes, turning all health care over to the government, rising Democrat support for socialism and socialist candidates, and a wide range of other out of touch issues.
With President Trump, Vice President [Mike] Pence, and the entire Republican and conservative system driving home the message about how dangerous, destructive, and extreme the Democrats’ policies and values are, the 2018 election could become a referendum on the Left, rather than a referendum on the President.

If this happens, the Democrats will get annihilated.

The contrast of the positive achievements of the Trump-Republican program with the destructive proposals of the Left creates a remarkable opportunity. We represent lower taxes, more jobs, rising take-home pay, the lowest Black unemployment rate historically recorded, fewer people dependent on food stamps (because they are getting jobs), better trade agreements, less bureaucratic red tape, and skyrocketing small business confidence. The Left represents higher taxes, more bureaucratic red tape, more people dependent on food stamps, and bankruptcy through a totally unaffordable government-run health care system. The opportunity for defining two alternative universes has seldom been better, nor the choice clearer.

Judicial Watch: “Elaborately Planned” Caravan Brings Human Traffickers & Violent Gangbangers to Guatemala

The migrant caravan marching northbound through Central America is an “elaborately planned” movement that’s benefiting human smugglers and bringing disturbing numbers of violent gang members and other criminal elements through Guatemala, according to government sources in the capital city. “MS-13 gang members have been detained and coyotes (human smugglers) are joining the march with clients who pay to get smuggled into the United States,” a Guatemalan official told Judicial Watch. People from Asian countries waiting to get smuggled into the U.S. through Central America are also integrating with poor Hondurans in the caravan, a high-level Guatemalan government source confirmed. Among them are nationals of Bangladesh, a south Asian Islamic country that’s well known as a recruiting ground for terrorist groups such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda Indian Subcontinent (AQIS). “There are lots of dirty businesses associated with this,” Guatemalan authorities told Judicial Watch. “There’s lots of human trafficking.”

In June 2008, my wife and I were returning from a trip to Pensacola, Florida, to our home in Texas.

On the day we were to return home, we got up very early and began driving our rental car back to the airport in New Orleans. We started early because we knew we would have to fuel and return the car and be ready for a 6 a.m. flight. My carry gun at that time was a Kahr PM40, a single-stack, six-shot auto-pistol. I usually carried a second magazine with an extra six shots, but on that morning, I had packed the extra magazine in my locked TSA-approved container in preparation for our flight.

Many Trump allies say a terroristic attack on Democratic leaders has become a media conspiracy to undermine the president ahead of the November midterms.

“Look, it’s the media’s doing what the media does, which is any narrative that they can twist against Trump, they will do so,” Sen Ted Cruz (R-Texas) told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt.

“I don’t think the same level of media scrutiny was received as we are seeing today,” Lewandowski said, citing incidents in which letters with white powder (later found to be harmless) were sent to the president’s sons, as well as threatsagainst Sen. Susan Collins’ (R-Maine) during the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation fight.

Socialism is ascendant in the Democratic Party.

A recent poll shows that for the first time in polling history, more Democrats support socialism than capitalism. Socialism is popular on college campuses and among the liberal intelligentsia, with another recent poll showing that millennials prefer socialism to capitalism.

Democratic politicians such as Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren want socialist policies like Medicare-for-all, government-provided college education, and federal job and housing guarantees. And these are just the demands of the comparatively moderate “democratic socialists.”

Presumptive New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who Democrat Party leaders like Tom Perez call “the future of our party,” belongs to a radical outfit known as the Democratic Socialists of America, which advocates for “a humane social order based on popular control of resources and production, economic planning, equitable distribution, feminism, racial equality and non-oppressive relationships.”

Scarcely a week goes by without a glowing profile of socialism in the mainstream media. Curiously, these pieces never seem to feature the perspectives of Americans who have actually lived through socialism. If they did, the bloom would come off the rose.
