Where your data lives
Recordings, transcripts and scorecards are stored in the EU. AI processing uses Google Gemini and may take place outside the EU.
What we keep, and for how long
Interview records have no automatic expiry. You can request deletion at any time.

IP addresses are never stored readable. We hold a one-way hash for 24 hours, to stop abuse.
Erasure
Deleting interview data
You can request deletion of interview records, including audio, transcripts, scorecards and notes.
We erase the records and the stored audio.
We verify the audio objects are gone before closing.
We keep an internal record of the deletion.
That record holds no name and no email. We keep it for 24 months.
Our team handles deletion requests. We do not currently publish a guaranteed completion time.
One part is self-serve: deleting a vacancy deletes every candidate under it. There is no undo.
What Kira-AI never does
- Kira-AI does not make hiring or rejection decisions. Your team decides.
- No proctoring, no cheating detection, no browser lockdown.
- No emotion, mood, personality or culture-fit inference.
- No judging accents, grammar, pauses or filler words.
- Audio only. No video, and no camera access.
- Your interview data is not used to train AI models, either by us or by our AI providers.
- No advertising, session replay or tracking in the product. On this website, optional Google Analytics measures visits only after you allow it; support chat is the other third-party code we load.
