Trying to set a custom directory for the downloads always fails with a permissions error #1714

Description

Brief summary

When trying to set the downloads directory to a custom directory on an SD card the app always refuse to set the chosen directory with the message "you have no access to the file or directory".

This happens whatever directory I choose, even ones created directly in the picker.

This does not happen for the backups or single pages directory, they can be set to custom directories correctly.
