Question #64

Hello there, I am working on a school project where we have to deploy a webapp.
The goal for this is to have a webapp on one server and the database on another.

We have decided to use a reddit clone (for school purposes only, will not be public in any way) and I am tasked with finding a suitable project where I can implement/setup the required layout.

Now my question is, is there a way to use your own database server (with the required database model) within your project and not firebase?

Because I am working on this for a while now and there are some projects that would work, but are not maintained anymore and now have a lot of errors.
And those that are maintained in some way, use a database solution that would not fit into the project.

Would be glad if you could help me figure this out with your neat project here <3
