Hi! I'd like to use this software and abide by your Terms, but the precise wording is a bit off:
You condemn Russia and its military aggression against Ukraine
You recognize that Russia is an occupant that unlawfully invaded a sovereign state
You support Ukraine's territorial integrity, including its claims over temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas
You reject false narratives perpetuated by Russian state propaganda
I don't want to condemn "Russia" wholesale, since it's a really ambiguous word and usually refers inclusively to the people of Russia. But I definitely condemn the people responsible for the military aggression against Ukraine. I think this is the appropriate response, so I feel like something's gone wrong if point 1 bars me from using the software.
I have no issue with points 2 & 3, but I don't know whether I comply with point 4, since I can't tell what is vs isn't Russian propaganda. I expect there's lots of propaganda distorting my model of the situation, and I haven't spent time carefully trying to filter this, so my some of beliefs (or at least the probability mass over them) are probably affected by these lies. But I don't know which, so correcting this seems hard. I definitely would like to reject false narratives & propaganda wherever possible, so the point seems sorta redundant unless specified.
In general I approve of moral messaging in terms of use, but I think this one is worded in a way that might counteract your purpose.
