Ads play every time I open the software, like 3 in a row.

Describe the solution you'd like
A way to block ads if possible, please. This is the only youtube desktop app that I have ads with, and I would like to keep using this one because it works better for me out of the rest.

I have not, I am not a programmer sadly.
