What happened?

I have a custom dashboard in Matomo as a user with "Write" access to the site.

I then click on reset dashboard.

The dashboard does not reset. It actually duplicated sometimes the widgets and have now 5 times the same widget. When I now click reset dashboard again, it doesn't do anything anymore.

Note that previously there was a widget on the dashboard that I no longer had access to see DEV-19513. This widget is now removed. Only mentioning it in case it's relevant for reproducing. Visits log and visitor profile is disabled too.

What should happen?

Reset dashboard should reset layout and widgets.

How can this be reproduced?

• Create new dashboard with default widgets
• Move widgets around
• Click on reset dashboard
• --> Widgets are duplicated
