Matomo currently detects time of pageload in web browsers, as well as other performance metrics appropriate to a browser. The goal of this feature request is to measure performance of a native app.

Native apps are different than a browser. The concept of pageview is not central, just for starters.

We need to discuss:

• What are the relevant metrics in a mobile environment
• How would this be implemented
• Which environments would be covered (iOS, Android, React Native, ...)
