Tom's wanted to work on this for a while now, I just wanted to get it written down so it's not forgotten about.

The PBR guide is quite old and obtuse, it is generally hard to follow even if it does technically work as-is. To close this issue the workflow for creating PBR assets should be simplified by doing things such as replacing the steps including photoshop with more efficient & FOSS tools like imagemagick.
