I noticed a question on the numbers from "_dis" files (read count distribution). In "_dis" files, each number means the reads count of a specific repeat length, so the sum of each line is the coverage depth of this region, right? However, using IGV or "samtools depth" to get the depth number from BAM files is different from the sum of each line from "_dis " files. I am wondering is there any filtration when doing the read count distribution ?
