[BUG] Pearcleaner not closing on window close #405

Description

@BitSynKed

Describe the bug:

When closing the pearcleaner window, the app used to properly quit. Now it remains in the dock and right clicking the dock icon shows 'Application not Responding' and it has to be force quit. Also, since it isn't responding, if you try to reopen the app window, nothing happens. This bug seems to have shown up in the last few versions of the app and is happening consistently.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Pearcleaner
  2. Click the red button button on the traffic light buttons to close the window.
  3. See that the app remains in the dock
  4. Right click dock icon

Expected behavior:

That the app properly shuts down and quits when the window is closed as it used to.

Info:

  • OS: Mac 15.7
  • Pearcleaner Version: 5.3.1

Debug Console

I tried opening the debug console, but then the issue doesn't occur with the console window open. Only when I close both the main and debug windows will the app freeze and need to be force quit.

Console Logs (For app startup issues):

I tried doing the console logs and just got an error message? What showed up is:
'log: too many arguments'
