another note is my ability to use v19 alvr is limited to windows only, streaming from linux client is preferable but as it stands i'm limited to using windows within a VM to stream my vr content, which is less than ideal. This is the main reason as to why i'm asking this now and not back when the breakage apparently started. |

I'm currently using a quest which for privacy and security concerns uses an much older verion of quest firmware with mods that disable account requirements and telemetry.
Firmware is v37.
I'm primarily using it as a streaming device using this program.
However, my ability to use it has been limited to older versions prior to version 19.
on newer version the APK client gives a blackscreen and cannot connect to the server, i suspect it has to do with some major change in how rendering or codecs on work newer android/horizon versions but i'm not certain.
If possible i'd like to be pointed in either the general direction of rebuilding it myself for this older firmware (again v37) if possible.
Upgrading the firmware is not an option for me as newer firmware have patched out the mods i use to block privacy invasive non-features.
If required i could feasible force a manual upgrade to v41 (the last working version) if needed, i would prefer not to though since downgrading isn't possible.
