Agenda:

  • Solution templates update
  • RACFu update
  • Project renewal on Thursday
  • General info

Minutes:
Joe - Ambitus is up for renewal at the OMP technical steering committee meeting this Thursday (9/12)

Evan - removed the sample application with GPL license from the fraud detection templates

  • Haven't found a good replacement application yet.
  • Want to create a new solution template for an anti-money-laundering sample. Joe will create a new repository for it.

Leonard - has figured out the pypi process for reserving a project name

  • We now have the racfu project reserved.
  • Henri Kuiper has given up the pyracf name for MFPandas.
  • We will have both pyracf and racfu projects, with pyracf being a thin Python wrapper for Racfu.
  • Enables support for other language bindings - like NodeJS.

Joe - who owns Autotag at Rocket?

  • Giancarlo's team has inherited it.
    • The internals are a bit hacked, but it functions well.
  • Anthony - there is a tagfile tool that is a good candidate for open sourcing as well.
  • We need a utility tthat performs trhe recursive file tagging function. Let's see if we can get an open version published here or elsewhere.
