Filters, background, and fixes.
You can now choose the resample algorithm when saving or generating a contact sheet. Supported filters include bilinear, bicubic, quadratic, and hamming. A background other than checkerboard can now be selected, including 'none' for a clean look. Made sure to include thanks in the About page for the Roboto font. Licence readme may be found in the Data folder.
Maintenance release. Example content added. Bug fixes.
Fixes include not saving window geometry if the viewer is iconified when it is closed, and a height issue for the dropdown menu item widgets. Added more test images including some CC0 licensed flipbook frames. Made it clear in the contact sheet generator that the buttons only affect the final output resolution.
Major 1.0.X Release
Fair amount of new functionality at this point. Works as a reasonable replacement for other image viewers plus has better support for dds files and loads gifs faster than some. Can now flip and rotate images (does not auto save them). View dds mipmaps and all sides of dds cubemaps. Pixel colour may be inspected in fullscreen mode in the information overlay (press enter to toggle overlay). Skip to beginning/end buttons added. Directory changes are synched when window receives focus again by comparing 256 bit hashes. Various bug fixes.
Fullscreen mode and detailed image information overlay.
The contact sheet generator options have improved, The viewer no longer continues to eat up memory as you view more and more images (old ones are unloaded). There is a handy fullscreen mode (use ALT-ENTER to toggle and ESC to back out). There are new zoom modes including 'fit' that can upscale as well as downscale. There is an image information overlay available. Lastly, the save-as dialog allows you to save in various formats, not only targa.
Zoom, pan, drag-and-drop, and contact sheet generation.
New features and bug fixes including zoom using mouse wheel, slider, Ctrl+ and Ctrl-. Pan using right mouse button. Viewer may also be used to generate contact sheets and handles the alpha channel properly. Sheet may be saved to png, tga, and other formats. Ability to save RLE compressed targas. Ability to view image at 1 to 1 pixel size easily. Binary incuded but building from source on Windows is easy -- just open the sln in vs2019 and build. Use the linked executable in the same folder as the sln as it looks for the Data folder to load the font.
First Release
The first release supports viewing of tga, dds, tif, bmp, jpg, gif, and png files. A compiled binary frome VS2019 is also supplied.
