Overview

FERC provides unique Company IDentifiers (CID) that show up in existing data integrated into PUDL like form 1 and 714, as well as FERC EQR data. They also provide a complete list of all CIDs, which could be used to link between these datasets. As we integrate EQR data into PUDL, we also want to start archiving/processing the CID list.

They provide both a csv and an xlsx version of this. We might as well archive both of these in case there are any differences.
