Gmail config doc doesn't seem to work #267

Hi there! I've been trying to set up email invites for calendars using Gmail following the docs, but it doesn't seem to work. I've tried both inviting through a client and directly through the server with the "Share this resource" action but none work. The logs don't seem to shed much light either, but I'm happy to provide more info if needed. I also checked the The docs mention that one needs to "first allow less secure apps", but the provided link goes to google's docs, and it's not clear how/where to do that, so maybe that's my issue? Looking around I came across this StackOverflow post that points to this google config, which states that for 2FA accounts this is in fact, not allowed. Any idea what I might be missing here? |

Just wanted to comment saying I'm also having issues, got email setup per the docs but see no emails sent from the account. Would this be better served as an issue rather than discussion? UPDATE: so i just tested sending an email manually within the container by doing the following
the email was sent, so something is getting missed to where baikal is not even trying to send the email. I'm willing to dig deeper just need some guidance on where to look. |

did you set your username as just a name or a full email? see #290 (comment) per ckulka's request, i have submitted an issue for the upstream project, link is in the linked issue above |

as discussed in the linked issue, the fix i found was specific to using DAVx5. and not an issue with Baikal.
