Something just like the yt-dlp
Add an option: if available, download the corresponding VOD and chat history simultaneously during livestreaming.
You can also design it to automatically add a VOD download task with the Update Track option enabled when a Scheduled Download is triggered.

This should address issues where live streams are not fully or correctly downloaded due to network fluctuations or other problems. Since live streams cannot be retrospectively re-downloaded after a certain short period, whereas VODs can attempt re-downloads when the network recovers without such a time limit, this should help mitigate these issues.
