I forked your code in this repo [0], and updated it with the following features:

• password encryption for ac2dm login
• ac2dm login workflow (checkin and device info upload)
• updated API for search() and download() (the old one was causing problems and it wasn't able to find all the applications)
• updated device information using data from a Nexus 6P. It is possible to add a custom device by adding it to the device.properties
• added a setup.py for easy setup
• both python2 and python3 compatible

Since your project is no longer mantained, maybe you could provide a link to the new one, so people may contribute to it :)
