Hey @JC5,

I searched this feature and found this: #6511.

I want to plan ahead a new feature that could benefits FireflyIII clients (Abacus, Waterfly, etc.).

This feature consists of a simple view of all categories (+ no category) like this one:

For this view I would possibly need a new field to store a category’s color, on the category object.

Solution

• New field with a color picker on the category's form
• Category's API endpoints support

What are alternatives?

• randomly pick category's colors
