Description

Can we add more Account Roles (e.g., ccAsset, savingAsset)? I would prefer an editable page just like we customize the currencies (e.g., USD, CAD).

The reason here is I basically put ccAsset to all my credit cards, and savingAsset to all my Checking/Saving accounts. For all other accounts, for example, PayPal, or my re-chargable transportation card, I have to use defaultAsset.

I would expect a new role, maybe "onlineAsset" to tag my PayPal balance, or Apple Wallet Cash Balance, and "prepaidtAsset" to tag my transportation card or my shopping card.

Solution

Probably we can reuse the page and logic of customizing currencies.

What are alternatives?

Well, the alternatives may be doing nothing and still using "defaultAsset" for all accounts.

Additional context

Logic, UI, and DB, may be similar to what we have already done for currencies. One issue on my mind is about the translation / locale. It's okay to use alphabet "USD" / "EUR" / "CNY" for all languages without translactions, but for account roles, it's better to display in people's own languages.
