Users are not allowed to create issues directly, instead we ask that you create a discussion first.

Inspired by Ghostty, we do not use the issue tracker for discussion or feature requests. Discussions are used instead.

Once a discussion reaches a point where a well understood, actionable item is identified, it is moved to the issue tracker.

This is done so that the issue tracker is actually maintainable, and so that contributors can find tasks to work on without any ambiguity.
