in the previous incarnation of this package (ie: https://pkg.go.dev/github.com/benoitkugler/textlayout@v0.3.1), there was a couple of packages and functions to parse and handle type1 and type1C fonts (here: https://pkg.go.dev/github.com/benoitkugler/textlayout@v0.3.1/fonts/type1).

(benoitkugler/textlayout explicitly says go-text/typesetting is where the action is happening. That's why I am posting here.)

go-text/typesetting is "only" providing support for opentype.

Is it just an oversight ? or is there a more fundamental reason ?
