Blogs are going to be a primary way to advertise and drive traffic to the website. And our subject matter of developer productivity is currently evolving to the point of irrelevance. I even find it rather moot at the moment.

I never thought lines of code written or any volume based measure of productivity was measuring the real thing [1]. And in this ever evolving landscape where AI is seeing increasing applications in Software Engineering, the subject of developer productivity is even harder to get right. I doubt we ever will but it's worth discussing.

Blog IDEAS

• Start of with motivations for this project and give attribution to wakapi, wakatime and so on and so forth.
• Introduce the subject of developer productivity and general thoughts
• Delve deeper into some of the general thoughts expounded above
• Blog post on the state of the art and literature review

[1] unless of course it was bugs squashed via PRs which is remarkably close to an accurate account of the person's productivity.
