Description

It has been reported by some users that there is blockers or issues that is preventing them from using the Operator, we should consider if we can either improve the Operator to make it more useful to everyone, or maybe introduce an alternative as well like a Helmchart. Before we decide on anything we should do a survey to better understand the current status of things.

Value Proposition

Make it easier to run Keycloak in most cloud native environments

Goals

• Identity current paint points with the Operator and find out if the Operator can be a solution for most users, or if there is a need for an alternative cloud native distribution
• Further goals will be defined based on the outcome of the above goal

Non-Goals

• ZIP, and plain container distribution, unless improvements can be made here that directly affects the cloud native (aka Operator) distribution
