I know that I can just diff a CSV BOM, but it would be great to have this as well in Kiri since it's part of the same workflow.

One specific thing that has bitten me a few times now is References Designators that are deleted and then re-used in the same iteration of a PCB. Kiri can have the knowledge of MPN's having been changed from one commit to another, so it really could be useful.
